Could do with a good link to a guide on how to really get my car shiney. Waxing and generally washing just ent cutting it for me. Anyone got any ideas/links (I don't have a machine buffer), to good guides.

Thanks for the advice guys, its quite funny (and sad) how obsessed people on these forums are! One guy talking about using a towel to dry the dew off his car every morning before he goes to work.

IMO it just makes sense that if your car's your pride and joy and you spend most of your time, effort and money it, you may aswell keep it clean and in good condition.

But some people on there take it ott.

Its all good cleaning your car n keeping it looking tidy, but not to the extent some people take it. A cars to be driven, not cleaned.

It honestly wouldn't suprise me what so ever if some of the people on there spent more time cleaning their car than they do driving it.

I can completely understand wanting your car to look immaculate. But when it gets to the point that your cleaning it on a daily bassis (probably to the detrement of your love life lol), surely thats ott.
