I think this is just gonna turn into a bashing for the op! I think alot of this is toungue in cheek humour and the fact that most saxo drivers can't drive (not saying I can but whatever) and the car looks like a standard polo

It is a standard polo, its just been stripped out and had an ehxaust made.

The red civic in the pictures had a tuscan round the bends. was brilliant to watch..... from a distance =[

I've read quite a lot of crap in this thread and allowed it.... but this, you serious? A tuscan would eat that EG. I bet it wasn't even remotely trying and your mate was like oi mate my civic ex is rapid bled just did that tuscan yoooo

what saxos have you been bashing?

Vtr's and 1 vts

the vts was driven by your typical, the further i lean back the more aerodynamic i am and i go quicker prick who i left round hartside the other day.

lol

You didn't exactly beat the Saxos, you beat the drivers. A Saxo will outhandle anything VW have ever released with a Polo badge on it. Sweeping statement maybe but I'm sticking by it.

haha youve done well!

Oh i dont hang about =]

Had a biker pull me over and ask what was under the bonnet. should have seen his face!

I owned an Escort TDI for a while and I "had" a Cerbera round the bends. In actual fact, I was in a small hurry and wanted to do a lot more than the 70-80 the TVR was doing so went round the inside of it round a clear corner. Didn't exactly win a race.

my mate kept up with some city slicker in a 911 through the city centre of manchester on the ringroad in his 328i. it means nothing

same when a citroen C2 tried to race me the other day, i really wasnt trying, but when i did, i smoked him instantly. i lolled

hahahaha bullshiiiit.

a 1k car driven by a 21year old who doesnt give a fuck vs posh boy who doesnt know how to drive in a £70000 car, through roundabouts at stupid speeds and in traffic. unless they're both on a track driven by equal competence drivers thats a fair race. on the road dont mean much

still fun though lol

Street racing is for gays anyway.

You want a track weapon, not a road weapon.

You boys like your big drill bits don't you? I might nip out in the morning and drill a load of holes in my GTi. I'll do me Mondeo whilst I'm at it so I can own exotica like Vectras etc on the M60-ring...

Yes a saxo would have my car any day, but its down to the driving, and this guy was clearly shite.

That Eg civic has 250 bhp, an integra 1.8 bottom end, high compression pistons and mental cams.

its on 600 quid coilies and has a 450 quid exhaust system.

it plays with M3's, Evo's and Scoobys.

It doesnt look like much but trust me. its quick.

Do you honestly expect me to believe that (What I'm guessing is a B18c bottom end with a B16a head) is running 250bhp at the wheels? Print out or it never happened...

Maybe at the crank depending on just how wild those cams are. It's not overly difficult to get 250 bhp out a K20 with the standard cams. What's the spec of the EK4?

To be fair he never said 'at the wheels', the B18C from the ITR is 197bhp standard, there's alot of lairy cam kits available for those so i dont think 250bhp is unachievable..

brb stripping out my bog standard car and making it a road weapon, back soon to tell you about it x

word on the street is that a stripped out GT can rinse a c63amg round the twisties? is this true???

bonnet raisers + holes drilled in bumper + honda badge = 250bhp

who needs good suspension, tires and a poweplant when you have holes drilled in your bumper?

See if you can find similar stuff to these, I hear they make your car an absolute monster.

Yeah but it's not even a proper B18c engine. Just said it had a B18 bottom end. A friend of mine has a B18c with a good exhaust system and lairy cams and it's running just under 220bhp.. In fact he's on here so he may be along to comment on this.
