A bit of a change to the 6n2

Featured Replies

I realise this car wont be to most peoples taste on here as I know you dont like people changing the shape of the Polo, however I though some may like the styling so here goes.

The idea was to create a modern looking car at minimal cost.

In the next couple of weeks theres some 16" Dotz Mugello alloys going on (Basically I'm copying mboyle4 as his look great with the VW centre caps and I dont think I can afford genuine BBS alloys) I'm also putting some subtle straight side skirts on and colour coding the front lip.

Will also look at having the windows tinted as my neighbour is a sign writer and can apply vinyl so could be very hand for cheap professional tinting!

The car is currently lowered on eibachs with some subtle mods, I wanted to make it look as though Volkswagen made the car i.e. it came out the factory looking the way it does.

Let me know your opinions good and bad, I have a feeling there may well be more bad than good with this one

Probably one of the more tasteful kits on here! Only thing I would say is rear apron would look good colour coded and the piece of bumper above the grill don't need to be there! Good stuff!

Not bad, i like the back :)

Thank You, I thought I was going to get grilled for this!

10 points for anyone who can work out how I created the rear bumper!

Fair play for doing something different, Good quality workmanship should never be put down

However, I think the curves of the bodykit do go against the straight lines of the 6N2 body shape, but as I said quality stuff!

Might grow on me when you get the dotz!

This is crying out for these!

Hehe thats them, please stop tempting me to abuse my overdraft anymore than I already am putting up pictures of them though hehe!

The front would look better if that bar wasn't across the top of te grill, ans it was a bit shorter, bit other than that, I like

think the front looks pretty horrid the way it slopes out almost looks to big for the car but every man to there own, the back looks pretty cool, please dont take offence and start an argument :D

if you removed that plastic above the grille and the splitter then i think it would look good

That could really pull off some big ass wheels, Imo it would finish the fat "concept car" look :-) Awesome craftsmanship here

Thanks, would love some big wheels, but really cant afford anything more than 16s which should look reasonably large on this body anyway.

As for the piece of bumper above the front grill a few have mentioned, what would people suggest I do with it?

thats really cool, my hat goes off

if you smoothed off the bump strips, i think that would look even better!

looks great!

exhaust looks abit small at the back though

yeh man looks good, just need to upgrade the two pee shooters on the rear haha!

Nice work man.

Looks pretty nice, not too keen on the front, but the back is sick!

Same As Above ^

Loving The Back But Not Liking The Front .

nice but I do think the bumper makes the whole front look abit too long in proportion to the vehicles size

Good effort - looks good to me 8-)

nose looks a little long for me with the audi looking front, but i like the back :p, good work for doing something diff

i am liking this, refreshing change!

centre exit ala r32 but in correct proportions to the back end would look great! :D

for some reason just reminds me of this dude from family guy. with the front bumper sticking out almost away from the car

saying that i do kinda like it actually. just maybe lose the spoiler at the back and dewiper etc.
