hi i want to make a 20v turbo mk 4 polo what is best engine? what gear box and drive shafts ? any one got a step by step guide?

i was just about to reply with "is the search button broken?"

but i must admit i've been thinking the same think lately and i can't any threads on this site with any useful info on a 20v swap, all i can find is people that paid somebody else to do it.. if i were going to do it i would do the whole transplant myself from scratch...

i would go for a nice early 20v lump with cable operated throttle like an AGU... but i guess they are still fetching a high premium at the moment because they have the big port head on them.

i spoke to jbs the other day and they said over 8k for a bam setup.

anywere that u know could be cheaper? i want jamies but he is selling now and itll be gone by the time i have the funds for it

tbh the best person too pm would be 6n2g40 or something like that, if you look in the photo gallery hes done a swap on a golf but he knows what hes doing
