unnnnnnluckkkkyyyy!!!! :lol::-p

count yourself lucky you didnt get 3 points aswell dude!!!

You allowed to run the plate off centre? sort of put mineon the splitter...

Looks shit in the window anyway.

Either run it on the front legally, or don't run it at all.

Doesn't matter if it's off centre aslong as it's infront of the wheels and clearly visible and the correct font etc etc.

so this should be fine?

That'll be fine but not sure why you want to do that as it looks ridiculous as there's a perfectly good recess there which now just looks odd.

I think it also has to be in good condition, so just watch it isn't trashed over a bump or something.

personal preferrence, looks much better in person+ i haven't got round to plastic welding the recess yet. probably never will, but thats neither hear nor there :p

Indy telling it like it is,like he does!

I really dont get why people move plates? 99% of the time that people move plates they look homosexual!

No sympathy TBH, the law on plate placement is clear enough.

Plate must be forward of front wheels.

I heard a few weeks ago that they don't give out producers anymore mate, every thing is dealt with with a fine/warning or court summons.

Exactly.

They could have done nothing, they could have given you 3 points and a £70 fine, they could have spent an hour looking over your car for any illegality (and from my experience, they can always find something), and done you for the whole lot. Basically, they took the middle line and just gave you a fine, so it's a count yourself lucky in my opinion.

They still do around our way, mate just got one for a brake light and baldy tyre.

thats why i left my recess in my bumper, they can even remove your plate from your vehicle if you're a repeat offender and it's a personal plate.

i agree with indy

Think yourself lucky, I got fined £60 for stupidly using my illegal plates until my dubmeister ones are sorted. Apparently the law has now changed and its a £60 for an offence illegal plates and not displaying correctly could cost you £120. (I'm not by any means complaining i got fined as i shouldnt have been stupid enough in the first place)

i used to run those plates, with one in the front window but back when i was 18 and the fines were only £30. still after about £120 worth of fines i decided that it just wasnt worth it anymore

no point bitchin about it, just wastes police time dealing with them, so they have an excuse when people bitch about them doin nothing haha

A mate of mine asked a copper if he hadn't got anything better to do when he got pulled over once. The answer was "Yes, but unfortunately you're stopping me doing it."
