I'd rather display no front plate at all opposed to having one on the dash. Either way if you get stopped you`re breaking the law and are likely to get the same punishment. I know which I think looks better

I can`t stand off centre front plates and 'bike' style plates. If you smooth the front bumper you then have to have the plate somewhere it looks odd

I was at a car show a couple of years ago, there was a guy there selling the spray film to avoid speed camera detection. He did a demo for us, sprayed it on a plate and took a photo. Probably only two of the seven digits were visible, said you need to be able to read the whole plate to convict somebody. We did`nt buy any though, you can get done for using it anyway

its not hard to not get caught speeding really if your not a spacker so using film to conceal your plate is just gonna get you in shit when your driving normally tbh

was it that one where they set a speed camera to go off when a cop car and cop bike went through it and tested all sorts of devices to conceal? i think only 1 of them "Worked" if you can call it that, it obscured 1 character a little bit but if they viewed the negative, it was clear as day so nothing they tried worked.

Hairspray - No

Cling Film - No

Plastic plate with millions of white dots - No

Magnifying plates to go over the real Reg plate - iirc, this was the one that obscured 1 character

The only 2ways i can come up with for not speeding are:

1) (Legal) Don't Speed

2) (Illegal) No Reg Plates and a stadard car (if it's modified, it's easier to find it again)

what about using a (taillight) tinting spray on the reg plate. Obv. it's illegal but would it obscure the plate enough to not be readable if you got flashed speeding by a camera?

just a thought. i don't want to do it but just wondered if it'd work. i've got spare plates too... (legal plastic ones)

the problem is when a police car inevitably and routinely ends up behind you

if the anpr camera or whatever cant read the plate, your gonna get pulled and bollocked

more hastle than its worth imo
