 Reps

sweeeeet, look really good mate, shame about black wheels though :p

Looks good! I do have to admit I liked the silver-colour on the LM-rep's more, but much respect for the work & effort that have gone into this car! This car is the fokking antwoord to all my South African Dub-issues :p (sorry, that song of ZEF-side is all over the radio here in Holland at the moment, that "singer" just makes me laugh my balls off everytime I hear that song! I'm a modderfokking ninja! BRA!)

Anyway, welcome on ClubPolo, and please keep posting up pics of your Polo, I'm a fan!

Thank you very much for the kind words, there will be some more updates in the future when the body work starts, alot of shaving and smoothing etc.

I have since sold the LM's as they were becoming very common, rolling on some nasty 15" wheels, until i find something i like.

Since you like "die antwoord", have you listened to jack parow?

Some other random shots i took a while back.

What it looks like now, with the tacky 15" wheels

Had to add some 20mm spacers in the rear so that it atleast looks like a little bit decent.

Some other small mods.

LED's added to the doorpin surrounds, still waiting for my beetle doorpins from the dealership.

And one of my favourite interior mods.

Sourced an audi TT gear ring from a scrappy and did some thinking.

TT.jpg

Everything taped up and a few layers of fibgreglass layed down.

TT03.jpg

Mould released and trimmed to shave and original pouch ring mounted to it.

TT07.jpg

TT08.jpg

Wooden template of trim ring cut out of MDF wood and t-nuts mounted.

TT04.jpg

TT09.jpg

Shape built up with foam and fibreglasses, then filler applied and sanded etc.

Then sprayed with Duplicolor trim paint and fitted.

And the final product, what you think?

Nice ride and loving the effort gone into the gear stick surround. It seems a lot of people (myself included!) don't want to know unless things are a straight swap, but you've done a great job on that!

You're welcome mate, and DO keep them shots coming, really digging your style with the station!

And Jack Parow rules! Funny thing is, since South-Africa is an old colony of Holland, it's easy for me to understand the language, it's very simular, like the word "koekeloere", I know for sure no Brit on here will understand it or know what it means, hell, you probably can't even Babelfish the word, just funny!

Maybe you can understand some "original" Dutch too?

Try some -> Holland's finest urban hip-hoppers, Jeugd van Tegenwoordig =

-

(for the Brits, stofzuiger means vacuumcleaner, which a methaphor for nasty, skanky birds  )

Or try The Opposites =

(my personal favorit!)

Anyway, I'm drifting off-topic now, just keep posting pics dude, I'm feeling it! 8-)

This is awesome dude :)

Wheels look spot on and the engine is absolute madness! aweseome!!!!
