fairly common in 6N2 the exhaust just loves to go all at once, i would recommend getting a new exhaust system, all depending on where the leak is comming from obvcourse..

As above! Best excuse for a stainless system ever!

My powerflow system cost £360 fitted 18 months ago

think a stainless steel system is a bit outa my price range :/

You can get an exhaust system from GSF or Euro car parts for around £150 just need it fitted..

yeah there's a euro parts round here,my next door neighbour works for andrew paige and gets me parts pretty cheap so gunner ask him when he comes home.

my mates suggested that the coil problem could be that the rubber top mounts worn away, but would they have been able to see that?

not too sure if it is that though, just been havin a look with a torch and the coil is sittin off centre, looks like a bit of the coil has snapped off?there's a sharp jagged edge and you can see it ain't sittin right.just checked the nearside and that looks like it's sittin fine, and there's no jagged edges.

Sounds like you need a downpipe.

Are you sure the spring's not got the end cracked off?

I'd say the springs broken. Quite common as I've had 2 cars fail on it. new spring time.
