Was chatin with a friend the other day about some new alloys i got where the tyres that came with it are too big and would shread up the arches if i even tryed to run them, and my mate sugested that i got to a backstreet tyre place that does part worns and see if the guy would willing to do a swap?

the tyres i've got are bridgestone pontenza 195/55/15 and there all in good nick

just wondering if anyone tryed this? and how did it go?

I'm going out to do it today anyway so i'll fill people in if theres any intrest cos i've never heard of anyone doing this

well went on a mission today, 2 places said yes but didnt have the tyre i wanted, 1 place didnt want mine cos of the profile and the other place well the guy looked like he was on crack and didnt actually get what i was asking him

so now i give up

yeah mate go for it I've done it before no problem,if you dont ask you dont get,after all they are bridgestones so it aint like your trying to give them crap is it.

Just get one of the garages that didnt have them in to order some.
