I'm wanting to lower my 6n by 40mm front and rear using just lowering springs, but I'm wondering if it will bottom out on standard shocks? any help please.

i very much doubt it will if its just 40mm mate

at 40mm you should be ok mate although if you are putting them on old shocks the shock's will ware out quicker
