I'm going to be sending sumone money through paypal for goods. i know if you send it as an "owed payment" no fees apply. but by doing thisou lose your buyer protection right?

just wondering what the fees where so i can pay a little extra and the fees will take it down to the agreed price

hope you can understand what i meen:D

All this information is quite easily accessible on the PayPal website.

There's a big section titled, "FEES" and it will be in there.

When I sell something on a forum, I always ask for payment as a gift. Yes, the buyer does lose his/her protection but I am an eBay powerseller so I ain't going to mess people around, just like I don't on eBay.

If you can't check up on the sellers reputation then as you said, paying the full price is worth it to get the buyer protection, especially when buying on forums!
