stupidly I've over tightened a rocker cover bolt on my mk3 and it snapped i am now in very urgent need of one as this is my daily and i also need the bit it screws into as i dont own a tap and die kit please guys help me I'm screwed until i find this part regards matt

you can not replace that bit. it is set to your head. if you put one off a difrent car there is a chance it will nip the cam or not hold it propely.

try using a small screwdriver to try and un screw it..

ill have to get it tap and died then i take it and it snapped because i over tightened it so i dont think a screw driver will work but i will give it a stab tomorrow

i snapped a rocker cover ages ago and the bit left in the head was just finger tight and just unscrewed!

ill have a try tomorrow but i have a feeling it wont be so easy anyone know how much a new set of rockers is just in case lol

anyone know how much a new set of rockers is for a mk3
