Heya guys and girls, thought I'd put my work in progress up, it's come along way from what it was and it's nearly there :)

when I first got it, started priming the panels one by one,

for a laugh:

and so starts the purple..

had these badboys planned to go on but had a change of plan..

a mate of mine fancied trying out his new equipment...

new wheels 13x8's et -10 wellers for some serious poke

got myself a nice bra

and fitted a mk3 golf cl splitter..

next on the agenda is getting the arches rolled so can go lower and get the roof sprayed matt black to match the wheels mirrors etc and also invest in bumper grills and a 16v rear bumper, still lots to do but getting there...

Wheels poke out a bit too much for me, would look sweet if the arches were pulled a bit :-)

was it hard to get a nice job with rattle cans? any tips as I'm doing mine soon, did you just scuff the paint or did you take it back to metal or what? sorry bout all the questions lol

Cheers mate yeah wanna go for black n purple sort of moody if you like, I fully Sanded it down as in took the laquer off then primered the car first flatted it back then spray away in wet coats, I would always use monstercolours paint if doing a rattle can matt spray job, hardly any lines whatsoever, when giving the second coat use really fine wet n dry to give it a near perfect finish

However i think it would look nicer with murdered lights, or even better black powerlooks, and the teledials would have looked soo good on it!
