Id seen about 2 other cars that where satin/matt blue that did have an influence. Always wanted it a satin finish, just wasn't sure what colour to go for. It was a last minute decision to go satin steel blue (the original colour) as the plan before was purple/plum or a really dark red/burgundy.

As for it being rat, I've got some rusty stone chips in the front panel now haha. so its getting there
