Well not a lot happened recently due to rain......

Got some Autoglym engine cleaner which I really can recommend! Done a lovely job of it, even though nothing was actually changed.

Spent two flaming hours trying to get the airbag clips to release!

Pup feel asleep lol

Then this happened....... Luckily I had a spare one to replace it with!

Bit of time later and one airbag light disabled

The interior door handles squeaked, so greased up this bar and there smooth and squeak free again

My old key had a nasty dent in it so bought a replacement and swapped over the internals, key and chip etc

An amazing improvement to my drivers door that needed doing, the strap had lost its life and wouldn't ever hold it, now it holds on the biggest hills going!

And finally, a little door pin mod, inspired by other VAG's tbh, golf etc...

All these months and FINALLY someones noticed it :p it's in hand don't worry but the washers are there.... well one is

Its a nightmare of a job in my experience, was the same on my Ibiza Cupra too! The clips are easy or VERY stressfull lol

thanks bud, seriously love the 280mm but the indicators take a bit more turn now to cancel on turns

After attempting to turn my fogs yellow with tinting film.... I gave up basically!

And got hold of the best stuff in the world... even came with a free blade and applicator thingy

Difficult to get a pic but its very thick and is actually a protection film too so all is good! :-D

Couple more minutes later, and a bit of heat gun action

Why I wasted hours trying to tint film them I will never know! If you want to do anything like this, use Lamin-X, best stuff ever and extremely user friendly! Made me feel like a pro lol

Had both cam belts, aux belt, rollers, and the water pump done Saturday

All genuine VW parts of course

Fully adjustable tow and camber shims from Regal Autosport. Each shim can introduce up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber, and you can run multiple sets so....

Where they sit

Not many pictures as I think it looks a tad silly on standard wheels and balloon tyres

Sadly though.... the Polo has been sat in the garage for a while and as of wednesday, ran out of MOT :( must start getting back into it again as the porsche wheels will make me love it again! Bodyshop next I think!
