Agreed but bit low on the money front lately so the project has stopped! I would like this car to be the one I take to my first shows when its done, perhaps next year

Ok... Another month on and I still haven't MOT'd the Polo on the plus side its saved some mileage and bad weather

Some parts, got some new cylinders, washers, and the bumper caps, as always new VW parts

Front panel replacement! The headlight alignment was out for this reason

Had to remove the air con, drain the cooling system, remove radiator, crash bar and all wiring and brackets, fan etc

:) All built up and in perfect shape now! The cooling system also working as it should again

Anyway! Remember my D90's? They were only 6J

So found a set of 7J fronts and 8J rears :-D

225 balloon tyres

Need some work to look good yet though

If you pull to fully extend the washer mate, you will see the cylinder holds it with two little clips, a bit foglight wiring connection for example, just pull it out and you will see :)

its just not the car i expected. Its boring compaired to the polo. Fast but really doesnt feel it. Turbo makes a nice noise but its all abit numb!

So its time to do what i should have done in the first place! - and buy a mk5 Golf GTi/R32

Just keeping this thread alive been really slow on getting this car done lately what with work, Christmas and the weather! But here's the latest :-)

Got these rare items for a bargain.

Genuine Hella Magic Colour / Smoked LED rear lights, couldn't decide if I liked them so just bought them and kept them off the forum thread but now they have really grown on me

Off came the red ones....

Cleaned up to ensure the new seals do there job

And the car :-D

Remember my D90's ? Well whats the rush as its winter anyway, finally got another set of tyres though, went for 45's as the rears are wider

Huge 225's removed and all the weights taken off ready for the refurb

Changed my mind on the refurb colour so these are for sale if anyone is interested
