Ordered a towing eye because after 16 months or so I realised I never had one lol

Been meaning to replace the missing seat cover as well

As you saw I was running doubled up shims in the rear for extra camber.

Ended up with 4-4.5 degrees of rear camber which wasn't ideal! The car was very twitchy and drain covers in the wet was dangerous.

So out came one set, reducing it to around 1.5 degrees additional rear

My ghetto brake calipers.

Orignal paint hasn't done bad for 10 years (this one is the worst though lol)

Will be painting them at some point but not decided on a colour just yet

You will be all pleased to know the tyres are on the wheels

(So I shouldn't be showing them off the car any longer)

Not the best location / snaps but hey hoo, all in good time for some professional photos.

Damn those rims are shiny, looks like you could lick them!

Damn man that really is a transformation. It looks amazing!

Although can't help thinking you could be making better use of that enormous stretch and space them out a bit more?

One of the nicest 6n2's on here!

wow thats nice, wheels seem to really make the car

Looks fucking sweet

just need to space the wheels out more if your running that strech.

Yeah the adaptors are only 15 or 20mm I think, would of liked some wider ones but doesn't look to bad, I will have to get some more pictures of it! :)

Steady on fella  There are some other damn nice cars on here to also consider!

Cheers though :-D

8-) D90's are a bit "tried and tested" but I still love them, wanted to make these ones a bit special unlike the tatty 6J ones previously!

 maybe lol.... new adaptors would be expensive though! :-o

nice stubby one :D

and also. Looks freaking amazing dude. Job well done.

and again...I've tasted wheel sealant because it smelt so nice....doesnt quite taste as nice as it smells :(

where did you get your mirrors done mate?

Love the car, remember when you first posted this, I like how you've taken what was essentially a dog with some nice aspects and completely turned it around. Much respect for what looks like you getting your hands dirty.

However, I too want to copy your mirrors.

Also, I tried Natty's paste once, doesn't taste as good as it smells.

did you do the centre caps by hand or using some sort of tool? this is so nice :)

x2 look soo good

A guy off a cliosport forum did them for me although if I'm completely honest, they aren't too greater job and I'm not happy with them really, I love the carbon look and for this reason I will prob end up getting them redone again lol.

Not many people seem keen to wet lay the carbon though :(

I did the centre caps by hand :-) cheers

LOL at also trying the paste  good effort!

Thanks for the praise, I really do question myself sometimes when I look back at some old pictures of the car, not sure why I didn't just buy a nice clean GTi to start with but at the time I needed a car this one was cheap I thought. Shame as for the same money now I could of got one that didn't need the work etc but it's my little project now anyway

it tastes like how car polish smells lol.

new adaptors would be expensive though! :-o

You'd be surprised mate,

I bought a set of 4 20mm adapters a while back for £120 second hand and they were missing some of the bolts. I thought I'd be able to replace them for not much money but turns out they're bloody hard to get hold of, so I bought another set that came up, 25mm for another 120, two of these had one hole stripped in each, but I used the good 2 on the back, full set of bolts and I can repair the stripped threads later.

Sorry for thread jack/essay, but possible 2 sets of adapters for 240 when new from venom, one set would be around that.

Just keep an eye out is all

Still think this car looks fudging amazing.

My FK ones I have now I got with my first set of D90's I had on the Polo (the gunmetal ish ones) so that wasn't to bad as I got to keep them when I sold them on :) Not to worried about spacing them out at present, maybe when the wheels are off for winter I could sell the FK's and put the cash towards some wider ones!

Thanks mate 8-) REALLY want some decent photos done of it though as mine don't show it off :(

Fuel Filter

Pollen Filter

and pipercross filter cleaner for the BMC, along with 5 fresh litres of Carlube :-)

Also had my air conditioning UV leak tested, dyed, and a regas. Really nice to have it working so well again.
