joms are not to moan about, fitted mine expecting a horrible ride but very happy.. just experiencing clunking noises from the rear atm. i picked mine up off ebay for 110 though. :)

spud, any update on how the ride quality is now that they have settled and you've your new rims on them?

and eightyseven, have you any problems or sorted out the clunking noises you're hearing?

i've got JOM's on my6n2 gti, i had them at a sociable ride height and wasnt complaining about the ride height at all tbh.

now i've would them down about 20mm more it is a bit more bouncy as expectedbut tbh i would buy a set again without thinking, well worth a thought for budgets, my mate had V-maxx on his car and the ride was absolutely AWFUL compared to the joms and there a fair bit dearer from most places.

As said for the money you cant complain, the ride will be sociable enough if not silly low. i'm planning to track my polo on them inaugust and hoping for no major issues

they do go silly low too IMO, front of my car the wheel is jsut tucked under the front arch and i have around 30mm of threads left on the front, rears are just tucking under a tad and still gotthe helper springs in and about 20mm of threadsto go down on the rear too.

I looked into dearer options but imo whats the point if its a daily, british roads are in an absolute state!! potoles everywhere, i would rathr fudge a cheap set of JOMS than a nice set of FK's or KW's, strange way of looking at it but thats my out take on things
