How do u remove the dash from a 6n?

Featured Replies

I have been trying to remove the dash board from a seat Ibiza I'm breaking, it's the same as the polo 6n dash so I guess it's the same process, I've searched in here but can't find a topic related to it so if anyone can help me out it would be great! ;)

cheers

Steve

it's a pain of a job, but if memory serves: screws in the end of the dash (open doors to get to them), glove boxes out (passenger and driver) and nuts/studs to undo, gear lever surround comes out and then centre plate off, two studs and one screw holding the centre of the dash to the exhaust/transmission tunnel, instruments out and two nuts holding dash bracket to bulkhead near steering column mounting point (same on the passenger side). Trim out in the panels next to the footwells, one bolt each side holding the dash to a bracket on the A pillar

Think that's all of them!
