Santa pod raceway:

First thing i noticed was how nippy this gt was, so to prove i wasnt just being stupid i went to das pod.

Got a 16.4 down the strip beating my brothers mk2 GT coversion by 1.5sec  !

Quite a few blokes in the know say its defenatly chipped as it reached such a good time, and hads no obvious mods, not even stripped out :)

had some jap Vs Germ banter the night b4 GTI Festival at santa pod, camped over and some jap boys came and got pissed up with us, i ended up rambling about The manchester micra masive, and they just went on about hitler all night.

what visual differences should there be, as i wouldnt even know what a standard one looks like :p

one will have fargevern tuning written on it. thats if tis modified, could be a Polo-PP one, strongly reccomend them, way better than 8k chips imo.

basically, if it's standard then it will have VW/audi logo's on it and a part number from what i can remember. Ask me or Ad if you want a hand checking, we have both installed them before. likewise for any other problems you have with the GT.

Just seen this. 16.4 is ridiculously good, that's about what a Saxo VTS would run.

updated.

nice driving mate!

i recon you should move your air filter a bit though as it's right above the hot exhaust manifold, know up a little heat shield or something.

dont worry bout it, just bodged it up today, only tied it on the cam cover so it was surported for the run to the shops.

Got a cold air feed to it anyway :p

More pics soon.
