had a leeky boot, rubber was all old and perished after 22 years of motoring, so got a replacement, would just like some advice on how to fit it...? doing it with my dad who has a good enough idea, but in the instructions it says something about a fitting cone? surely if i grease it up enough it should stretch and slide over the joint? ... cheers for the help. :)

you need to pop the cv joint off....will need a clonk with a rubber mallet or similar

or as per the instructions use a cone to stretch it over
