VW Caddy Van 1.9sdi 1999 106k Norwich

Featured Replies

Hi, got for sale my 99 plate caddy van 11 months MOT (sailed through), Tax til end of May. I've had it since october/nov and its always done me proud. The 106k 1.9SDI engine always surprises me with its quietness and smoothness.

Van is in Windsor Blue (Met Blue)

Plan was to tidy it up slam it and use it as a daily but for some stupid reason i've bought a Hijet to pimp so have to let this go.

Had a new cat a few months back. I've fitted a towbar but will be removing that unless someone wants to come to a deal.

Has Nice Seat seats fitted from a Sports Model.

Bad Bits-

Body work is typical of a 11 year old van although there is very little rust and the chassis is very clean. Some of these do tend to get holes. from the front its good, N/S is good, back door has a dent but I do have a spare in White.

The bad bit is the O/S. I had a scrape with a lorry trailer, nothing major but it is currently part painted black where I have done some repairs. I will be spraying it blue but only with rattle cans. I've replaced the Wing mirror and Wing, but filled the door and rear panel. I don't work in a bodyshop so its not 100% but it is still a pretty good job.

The clutch is a little high but its been like that since I've had it and the guy before me. I've towed a box trailer several times with no problems, may just be a stretched cable.

Basically this will make a perfect daily or parts runner. Its very economical and compared to my coupe a luxurious drive. I do actually think I must have taken a knock to the head to buy a Hijet and want to get rid of this.

Located in Norwich.

Looking for £600 ideally, I think without the o/s repair i'd get £800-850 with the wind on the right direction. Always open to offers.
