my mates in the scrap business and he's just had this come into his hands, he asked me if i knew any one that would be interested in parts off it before he weighs it in. it's a 4 door in dragon green (with a blue rear passenger door). rear bumper looked good but front has a crack in it, guess it could be fixed without too much hassle and they would be cheap. it has a flat battery so i couldn't start it to see what it ran like although he said it was just a case of the T&T running out and it just being left sat until he got it, so i would assume the engine and box were good, i can stick a battery n and see if some one is interested.

any parts would need to be collected this weekend tho i guess because he waiting to weigh it in, i could take stuff off and store it at mine if it would be collected within the next week or so but i am already getting greif off the misses for my spares i have here so i can't store them for ever.

how much for engine and 'box?

would you be willing to post a couple of things? I'm after the two upper grills from the front bumper and the gear gaitor surround.

i'll be keeping the engine conversion (just done a crafty deal with the lad that has it lol). every thing else is available.

i'm going to be putting this engine in a mk3 so i will need all the engine parts myself mate

although the power steering and stuff like that i won't need, i've still got to look in to it a bit more but i don't think i will be needing the gearbox from this either so that may be up for sale too...

alrite mate....do you know the mileage on those clocks??? any chance i can get the clocks and the interior wiring loom from behind the dash?? let me know

the clocks were reading 73k i think (i got a photo i just need to upload it), do you need the whole front part of the loom? as in every thing that goes from the fuse box to the dash/doors ect?

because i cut some of the one's going to the doors, only the central locking one's tho iirc because they wouldn't come out of the plug lol

if your not bothered about that then how does 40 sound for the loom and clocks?

those clocks would be perfect....I need the wiring that has all the stereo part on etc, so am guessing the front part of the loom. not bothered about central locking part as i have after market central locking.

yes i can post mate, i'll wait until i have every thing off it and the car gone before i start actually selling stuff on so i don't get confused (that's easily done for me lol), should be finished striping it by Tuesday-Wednesday kinda time, it's taking a lot longer than i anticipated

so if any one else needs any thing in particular then post up and let me know asap incase it's some thing that i forget to take off the car

should be getting the front n/s window reg off someone else but if they dont have it still how much posted mate? supposing it works and is electric

also the little widgets behind the boot lock, couple of bits broke off the mech the main casting with this little arm attached is what i need i'm guessing
