Yeah, their not willing to split the suspension unit though. Only sell it whole for a ridiculous price, just thought I'd try to on here before going on partfinder etc.

Are you sure? My local motor factor (Not vw!) got me one for £30ish. Look in your local yellow pages.

GTi springs, there about 20mm shorter? Mhmh, How much for the pair?

I shouldn't imagine the difference in height at the front by fitting both will effect the balance much.

I'm down in Cornwall, guess there is minimal chance you are close? willing to post?
