Pretty impressive. I saw 47 mpg on the MFA in my Mk2 doing 55 mph, but normally it hovers about 22 lol.

coast down a hit in 5th at 60mph and you will probably hit 99.9mpg :p

TBF we managed to get 45mpg in a 2.0 8v gti, good going man!

that's probably more than i've ever seen in the my jetta and that's a diesel

I've managed 42 on the MFA of my 8v rocco, but that is grandading it at 60 to 65mph

Polo hits at least 55, will know for sure when I get the scan-gauge fitted next month :-D

i'd be lucky to see even half that

kam showing his true pikey skillz there, note the fuel guage in red line, no wonder you were driving like an absolute quimbadger

the best I ever got from my mk2 8v gti was 39.7mpg on the MFA :)

Managed 45 out of my mk2 8v when I had it. Should have kept it in hindsight, the rocco gets about 10 less than that.

Even going at a fair pace it'll still do 35mpg.

I was hoping it was 4.16 mpg, then I would have been impressed

i dont know what i can get out of my polo i did a 365 mile round trip on sat and only used half a tank

Can you do a MFA cluster upgrade on a polo? :o

You can use the MFA stalks. Whether it will work is a whole different story

Wait, I dont recall my gti actually having an MFA in the first place, i thought it normally came with golfs and passats, which is why I thought that an cluster swap would be needed.

I got about 55mpg @ 56mph to blackpool and back out my 1litre 8v. dissapointed i'm having to put up with this lack of power for not a great deal better fuel consumption :-(

I've got no idea. Rich install the MFA to the Vento. Was just plug and play once I had the 16V clocks.

any clueso n how to get mfa in a mk2 jetta? would i need mk3 clocks and stalks bodged in?

Pretty sure you can get MFA for a MK2 anyway?

did not know that, cheers ill investigate.

I wouldn't mind fitting the MK2 Golf/Jetta/Scirocco/Passat/Santana/T25/etc multifunction clocks to the MK2 Polo,I'm sure Gaz did this.

Clocks alone wouldn't get the econometer working of course,id need the thing on the fuel line too.

Chances of finding them on a postcard,please..

I regularly saw 50+ mpg on my Mk2 8v's MFA. Thinking back on it I only had the car for two months and only remember filling it up after I bought it haha.

4 Gears and 895CC. Means I get some crappy mpg if I go over 40 lol. 60mph and its screaming. £10 will usually get me about 40 miles or so I reckon.

You can get the MFA's out of late spec mk2 GTi golfs iirc? I know my 8v GTi had one , usually sat at about 36mpg :(

My Mk2 Golf 16v. Went in neutral down a hill for a couple of miles haha.
