Cheers everyone. Didn't think I was going to like it either really! But since you all do I'll do a proper update....

To be honest this one was just about using a whole bunch of the hoard including a car (had it sat aorund for a year and a half!) Was originally going to use the splitter and grill on the v8, but I've got something different planned for that now. I think the twin square grill and splitter really compliment each other.

How it looked with the round lights....

Front splitter and side skirts are of the Kamei X1 flavour, which I can't find any pictures of on google, I can only assume because its completely forgotten about due to being so distastefull.

Here's when I tried the skirts on the car a while ago, laughed and forgot about it till now

Wasn't too pretty when I took the standard bodykit off, arches were all pretty rusty, but that fell in line with the arch doctoring needed to get some wheels on, cleaned all that up, and used mk3 arch trims, which were a right pain to get to line up anywhere near decent with the kit as it was obviously never designed to be used with that, theres been quite a few arch trim casualties along the way when we realised it wasn't going to get near factory lines. Didnt get any pictures, will do tomorrow.

Couple of the lump before it went in.

AFH, R1 38mm carbs, custom stainless inlet, and one of my finest stainless 4 branch manifolds, into a twin silenced 2.25" system.

Usual Jackson Tuning shopping list on this one with regards to the suspension, has a budget kit with spax adjustable fronts (had them lying about) Polybushes, and ARB blocks.

Wheels, well they had to be big IMO! Had some 15s and 195 45s about, so chucked them on for the moment, but I'm tempted to go to 16s just to add to the effect.

It runs, just needs setting up and a tickle, and the exhaust finishing, which we can't do till I decide what to do with the rear bumper, and that took a while! Found a matching kamei rear a while ago, but its seriously nasty! So I didnt bother getting it. Tried a Mk3 rear on, and it just looked strange, didn't match the rest of the kit at all. Hopefully got a Dietrich on the way now though.

Soon as thats here, we'll see what the end product looks like! In the mean time, I've got to decide what tailpipes to give it!

That red one is nice, like what hes done to the grill, don't think that and the mirrors go with the low/wide look though...

Looking a bit more complete now, thats how it's going to stay till the bumper turns up. Needs a few more bits tidying up, but other than that its pretty much done.

Needs more rear tat though, anyone know if they made those slatted back screens they did for the mk1s and roccos?

Front suspension needs to go lower, and I fancy some zender turbos to complete the look.

you need some kamei graphic made up for comedy value!

needs to have everything colour coded to complete the 80's look.

Also a half way rear spoiler, think zender did them.

That is so much better than it has any right to be.

With a slatted rear screen, kamei graphics and some detailing this is a show winner.
