I've bought a GT engine and it has no starter motor or coil

now i would like to know if they are the same as spi ones as i have two or are they GT specific

Pretty sure they are

I'm sure all mk3 8v engine startermotors are the same, only thing I'm unsure of is the coil

Starter motor's interchangable, coil pack isn't.

I'm certain the coil is the same too

Edit: Vag-cat confirms the coils are all the same

gt and g40 share there own coil packs i think. I THINK

coil pack IS the same - it only differs on NZ engines

all coil packs are the same ant they ?

as I've swaped my g40 gt spi arround lots of times

all startmotors are the same
