Anyway, I've just sent them in the past with Parcel2go and not specified the weight. It's fair interesting watching the poor posties face as he has to walk up the path, stooping lower with every step as each disc in his back slips out of place.

You can post a set of wheels for around £25 so a brake setup shouldn't be a problem at all.

most postoffice wont accept anythin over 20Kgs, parcel force will come and collect it

I rarely use the postoffice as it costs stupid amounts.

Getting it couriered in a way is better (if you are at home/work for a whole day) as they come and get it, all you do is package it up and print a label.

To compare prices a bit, i wanted to post an alternator.

Postoffice wanted i think £15 ish.

I got it couriered for just over £7. Pretty much half price.

Royal mail tracking is also useless, where as with a courier you can check online to see where its gotten too (with most services, not all) And if it cant be delivered you get it back sharpish (unlike the royal mail who sent me something back over a year later because the person had moved house)
