as above really what problems can i expect from running 15 by 6 et 35 with 185/55/15 tyres on

i would expect scrubbage with those tyres, not exactly low pros. if you aint running 165/50s,165/45s, 175/50s i wouldnt bother. some people run 195/45s, but to me they still look a bit oversized, they also limit how low you can go without needing arch-work

sorry yes pretty sure its 40mm all round (does sit low mind). i currently got 14" by6 et 38 with 185/55/14 on and havnt no issues

i hear what your saying jon but my car gets driven so i dont want tyres popping off , its not a show car either , so 195/45 is the best option , would 195/50 be ok dont want to be too low profile cause all the pot holes around

a 165 or 175 wont pop off a 6j wide rim. I've run them on my g40 loads of times, also ran them on a couple of other cars which got driven very hard. a 195/50 will look stupid, no really stupid. if you dont want to run low profile, i suggest you dont fit 15s, stick with 14s instead.
