cos they are great cars and look great when treated properly my friend

thats why i love vw and there realy reliable

always liked corrados, and i went to a car auction and saw my first polo bought it and loved it, always have and alwyas will love vw

Because they feel like they have a better build quality than any other car I've driven. Also they look better IMO than most cars. And i really didn't want to be just another 106/saxo driver :)

because as a first car i wanted something that other people didnt have so got a mk3 GT and loved it. Never looked back

A VW isnt just a car, its a lifestyle.

x 3!!!

First car was a mk3 polo and it was top - now all I know is VW

why a vw?

simple, its reliable, cheap to run and reasonably fast. dont really care that its a vw, not really something I'm bothered about. if old minis were more reliable and didnt rust at the slightest hint of moisture i'd have one of them over my polo anyday.

my reasons for buying a vw dont really apply to later models though as i dont think they are any more reliable than any other manufacturer these days

Because I'm a hitler loving nazi

vw need isay more.

I've been going t vwnw since i was about 3 lol so its sorta bin drilled inta me

I've always liked Golfs, and I wanted one as a First car, but thought the 1.4 would be too sluggish, so i opted for the smaller car.

So, now with the Polo- It was cheap for the quality/spec of the car. Also insurable, well, not as cheap as I first thought, but still.

Why my dad choose a Polo for me- For the fact VWs were known for their reliability, and much better quality engines than such things as Clios in the same price range.

And nearly a year of ownership I'm still happy with our choice.

I thought VW's were the coolest cars when i was learning to drive, so after my 106 i bought a Golf. Then i learnt loads about them and bought and sold loads.

Now I wouldnt want to get a car marque that I'm not familiar with really, so i continue to get VW's.

In my experience the 'reliability' label VW's have isnt really true. I've found french cars to be more reliable, but VW were better built and easier

to work on.

^^ you must have only had newer vag stuff then! reliability went out the window in the mid 90s

I don't know, but I really wish I had gone Jap now instead lol.

becuase i didn't want a car that broke down

Actually no

Love older cars, hate rust.

changed my mind:

Because I couldn't afford the blue oval I really wanted!

Hmm let's see. My first (Mk3 breadvan 1.0) VW purely because it was cheap and had a year of MOT and tax. 2nd, the 1.3 Mk2 Golf, because I wanted something that would handle a bit better and still be cheap to insure, which it duly was. 3rd, the Mk2 Coupe S, because I was fed up of the TDI Escort I had at the time, and the Polo was in the right place at the right time. 4th up, the Mk2 16v GTI, because it was cheap enough for what it was, and you aren't going to get much else that offers the same level of performance, handling, economy and reliability for a grand.

For me i owned 2 saxos vtrs before my MK7 Polo. Reason for owning one was after searching for different makes/models i found VW build quality a mile better than others (french). Ok, VW are a tad more to service but i am happy to pay that for a car that not only looks great but has great MPG & will last for many years to come. Having a VW makes even myself feel a bit more 'mature' and now i look down on my previous cars & smile thinking i've got a descent car i'm happy with & thats all that matters. Sometimes performance isn't everything, been there done that, for me, every VW Polo is a fantastic car.

Could have bought a mini and had a adventure

bought a polo and had a expedition.

haha who's seen short circuit, doesnt this golf remind you of johnny 5 haha..
