Everytime i swurve to avoid a pothole i get so angry & worked up that the fact theres nothing road tax is going towards that it should be. Its depressing to think lol

and while this goes on these mps are getting filthy rich by the day

this story is in the sun as well, they have a man from the AA saying it's just a natural evolution using technology that is already available. why would they have to bring in new law's? as long as the camera's (they use a number plate recognition system like the specs) are brightly coloured and the area being monitored is clearly signed then what would be any different to how they do the specs camera's?

as for it not working, do you really think it would of got to the stage where they are doing trials if they thought it wouldn't work? the system is built by some American company not our government, do you think they would invest millions of their own money into developing the system and blasting satellites into space if they thought it wouldn't work?

And its not a satellite that is the camera!!!! Speed cameras which communicate with each other by satellite are being secretly tested on British roads.

i'm with mikey on this one, we all know how this country has gone down hill over the last 13 year's and we all moan like fuck about it on here, well here is your chance to do some thing about it. it's now up to you to either do what needs doing or sit back and let things get worse, but if they do then don't complain because you had your chance to to fix this shit and you bummed out.

some thing that's shocked me is the surge in poularity for the lib dems, has any of the people that have just thought 'that nick cleg seems like a nice chap' even seen what they say in their polices?

for starters they want to bring an end to all prison sentences under 6 months and replace them with community service. so the next time some one scams the shit ot of a load of club polo members, rather than at least getting a short stay at HMP they will get to walk around and pick up some litter 2 hours a week.

rather than getting tough on immigration they want to give any illegal immigrants already here British nationality!

instead of building more nuclear power stations (that even green campaigners agree is the best option available) they want to build coal fired power stations. are these people for real?

the worst thing is that if too many people vote for these idiots then labour stay in power, infact even if labour finish behind the torys and lib dems they could still stay in power. the torys need a majority win to take control, and that is the only way we will get a change for the better, infact that's the only way we have any chance of keeping out of bankruptcy

average speed cameras are a peice of piss to get around...

anyone been on the A1 recently? theres about 30 miles of 50mph average speed at one point...

every time i go up it i stop in a layby or 'rescue zone' for 10 minutes and roll a cig or something... then i carry on at 70mph.

And as for the 'reduces the need for speedhumps' comment. There is already no need for them in most the places they put them, but it hasn't stopped them from continuing to put them in pointless places.

with you on that... there's a road near me which is a dead end (big wall at the end) and they've put one about 10 metres away from the end haha... you'd have to be a stupid idiot to go fast over it... and a stupid idiot to put it there.
