VW Polo GTI,

Registered 01/09/2001

94,000 miles

MOT until 12/8/10

Tax until August 2010

Good points:

- Brilliant red paintwork in fantastic condition

- Full factory leather interior with heated seats

- 1.6 16V engine

- Xenon Headlamps (self levelling with washer function)

- VW Climatronic fully automatic climate control

- Front honeycomb grilles

- GTI gearknob with leather gaitor

- External temperature gauge and analogue clock

- Chrome dials

- 6 CD Changer

- Alarm

- Central locking

- Fully refurbished gearbox fitted in 2009 with gearbox and ratio's changed to increase top end and improve acceleration (well chuffed with results)

- 2 keys

- FSH

- 15" BBS RX2 Alloys

Bad points:

- 2 tyres will need replacing pretty soon

- Alloys suffer the usual corrosion on the lip but centre section all in great condition with 1 alloy slightly damaged due to pot hole

Location: Surrey

Pictures: To follow very shortly

Price: I have been looking at pricing for a long time. GTI's in this desired colour, with the full leather and fsh are selling circa £3,200. Taking in to consideration 1 wheel may need to be replaced (looked online and there was one brand new on ebay for £50 or a set of 4, all brand new and refurbed for £175 with tyres) I feel a fair price would be £3,000. However, as I no longer use the car it seems pointless to hold on to it and I am happy to let it go for £2,800.

Reason for sale: I have changed job and catch the train to and from work. I use it a couple of evenings a week when I drive to football training.

Pictures added plus thought I should let you know the brake pads were replaced last week and I have new number plates to go on as the rear plate isnt in great condition (see picture).

Further images to come of interior, engine and detail of wheels.

Yo mate, real interested in this, get some more pictures up of the interior and the wheel etc :-)

also, did it have any advisories on the last MOT?

Pictures of interior and wheel will be up tomorrow.

Only advisories on MOT were number plate and 2 tyres being near limit. Got new number plate (see pic) and 2 tyres were replaced but other tyres near limit now.

I bought 4 nearly new BBS RX2's today. They are in amazing condition. Let me know if you would be interested in them too.

Hi, thanks for offer but no thank you. As I said in first post, the reason for sale is that I don't need a car any more.

Pictures below of wheels and interior.

The wheels cost me £240, I'm not out to make a profit on them so you can have them for £240.

I dont have any pics yet and its too dark to take them now. I am going to france first thing tomorrow until friday. If interested I will get some pics up next weekend.

Hectic since holiday - wheels being cleaned & polished but open to selling without new wheels.

Seriously, grab a bargain here.

  • 2 weeks later...

4 NEW WHEELS NOW AVAILABLE. Shown pictures of 2 due to size of attachments allowed. These are in near perfect condition!

If buying car with these new wheels it will be £3000. If you want the wheels only, let me know. If you want the car with the old wheels then we are looking at £2800.
