in west and south wales at the moment.

big step forward today the shell is in the garage and I've already bolted on the front subframe and a wing.

ordering a set of these this week. after driving a car with them on. i just needed them lol. tripple adjustement on the shock itself and also height adjustable.

I thought I recognised the car in your avatar! Seen you out on a few event's and competed against you in the Chevette a few times as well!

New car is looking good, will be good to see something different out around South Wales!

what car do you compete in Sion?

Usually navigate in a Red Corsa, was a few cars behind you on last years Ystwyth. Have sat with Richard James 'Milo' in his ZR a few times, but I do more North Wales event's like the Farrington, Rali Mon and Rali Llyn.

I am bulding my own car now to compete on a few here and there, but its very slow progress at the moment!

today i sanded back the cage as it had some surface rust on it then repainted it. also removed the dash from the donor car and the electrical loom. then cut the dash to fit around the rollcage.

and the rear kw v2 coilovers on the rear.

at last one big hole

this is what came out of the big hole the left hand drive bulkhead. now to fit the right hand drive bulkhead.

bit morge progress tonight. with the steering colum,pedal box, handbrake, gearstick, door and door latches and and apapter nut to make my mk2 kws fit the rear.

went to the scrap yard today and got a few more bits. only bonnet and grill to get panel wise now.

also the mk2 kw v2s fitted to the mk5.

starting to look like a car now. :)

update from today.

sanded back then undercoated and painted the engine bay

unpainted with the new rhd bulkhead in place

then paint time

some tasty bits arived today.

will put these on next week.

oh yes. 2 moz we are building the straight cut gearbox and starting the engine build. getting close now.
