Got the car standard, With VW alloys.

Got hold of some 17" wheels that I thought would look good on the car

Obviously it needed lowering BADLY so I bought some springs off ebay but never got round to fitting them, So I sold them and decided to save a up bit of money and get coilovers (this month)

Badges off the rear and Painted the front VW badge Matte black.

Just got the Bump strips back from the painters and fitted front and rear. Just waiting to take it back to them to borrow their toffee wheel to de-stick my sides!

Plans for the near future

- Coilovers - fitted in the next few weeks.

- New wheels, When I see the right ones.

- Toying with the idea of an abstract colour on the VW badges (Bright blue?)

- Seat front splitter?

- Rear lights coated to be all red (if legal?)

- Fog Lights (yellow?)

I was looking at AP's but the FK Highsport kit looks good (droplinks included)

What made you go for FK's? Its a bit of a minefield choosing, especially when price is important :p

the kit come with droplinks , all the bolts and that

they go low

Yeah, I just took a look through it before. You got any pictures of it as low as it will go? ^__^

I have fk highsport silverline x coillies fitted to my 9n, sits quite nice and isn't wound down fully! The only thing I would look out for is the droplinks I recieved with them weren't quite short enough (anti-roll bar was still rubbing against the driveshaft) bought v-maxx droplinks and that sorted the problem. Even better are the v-maxx adjustable droplinks if you have a spare £50 :(

colour coding looks sweet, how much was it?

I was going to do a D.I.Y on it until I started sanding one of the strips down!

so I paid £125 to have them de-textured and painted.

He also took all the adhesive off the side for me as well - saved my fingernails.

I was going for the red and black look as well. But IMO it looks so much better colour coded

Eventually, Not sure whether to get mirrors done as well.

Might leave them black to keep the red and black theme going on!

I haven't put anything in here for ages - There has been a major change.

I cant get over the original ride height! surprised I didnt get altitude sickness up there.

Also de-wipered the rear and just painted my poor old rear drums black.
