my polo came with a gorgeous houndstooth style interior, but i can't seem to find it's origins anywhere.

as the car has had 9 previous owners, and with 144gazillion miles on the clock (wink) i'm not sure if it is the original interior, or what the heck it is.

My aunt is a polo nut (she has good taste) and is convinced it's a Wolfsburg edition interior... But from what?? i'm not convinced it's as standard on my little 1 litre...

oh, and my aunt keeps calling it 'dogstooth'

help would be much appreciated... x

Got any pics? The old polo's came with all sorts of weird interiors. My loon from 83 has a blue and white check pattern. Shame its too worn to be of any good now

yeah houndstooth is pretty standard for early mk2's. i've got a blue houndstooth interior in my garage. i hated it!

well, it's black and white houndstooth-stule, with black bolsters and a vinyl/leatherette back...
