I have a spare bonnet and boot for my Golf MK3 Cabby.

I want to do something with them, the bonnet is rusty, and the boot is not.

I was thinking of getting some art done on them or some graffiti/spray paint art.

The rest of the car is red.

Anyone got any ideas on what design/colours etc?

I had an idea of doing the boot so that it looks like you are looking into the boot as such, so there is a hole in the bootlid (but there is not really, just the illusion painted on) and in this hole you can see a dead body (in 3D effect), then getting one of those fake hands a having it come out of the boot!

Anyone got any other ideas?

that boot idea is pretty cool imo, although unless you know a shit hot artist it would cost a lot to get done to a high standard, have you conciderd vynal wrapping?

I'm not too sure on exactly what vinyl wrapping is to be honest?

Can you get an image printed on vinyl, then get the boot coated in vinyl?

Is that the principle? Do you know what prices are charged for this, say to wrap a bootlid?

vynal wrap is kinda like a big sticker and yeah you can choose what to have printed on it. Its what they do on stuff like sky tv vans with the simpsons all over them.

I was thinking maybe show a hamster on a wheel powering the engine where the cambelt goes!

Or even better, something like on the front of the haynes manual which shows the innner workings.

That would look pretty cool I think.

So it looks into the car, but only painted on! Although maybe I Could get some high temp plexi glass and and cut a hole in the bonnet and replace the hole with glass? Would that be legal?!

Anyone know some who can do this or seen it be done before??!

theres a place on the a5 some where near hincklythat does it, thats as much as i know tho lol. My mate was looking in to gettimg his caddy done therd, i think they are could be called dynamic coatings or some thing like that. Have a google mate i know they had a good web site because he sent me a link to it
