UPDATE!!

well here is another little update.

i got my self a new oil cap wrapped in carbon fibre, got it off here from "mad-dean", here is a pic:

i also stuck a new sticker on the car lol:

What technique did you use to remove the rubstrips on the front bumper? I want to remove all of my rubstribs for spraying, I believe they are held on with some sort of clips?

it was hard to get the strip off the front, i just pulled it off a bit at a time. yes its held on with clips.

Here is another update, so i got my self a new engine cover.

i got a GTI one as its bigger and covers more of the engine, but need to take the 1.6 off and put 1.4 now.

well i have been needing to up date this lol

i have got loads done from the last update.

so any ways, first things first i sorted mt paint work out, some paint had come off so i sorted it out, here are some befor and after pics:

I also wanted to get some gauges as the bit under the cd player wasnt gettin used, so i got a gauge holder:

Then got to work fittin one:

Fitted:

Then next i got hold of a roll cage :p been wantin one for a long time:

And got it fitted:

Also got a 1.4 badge for the engine cover and fitted a better cold air feed:

And then 2day i give the car a gooood old wash:

And thats its for now.

gloss black roof is next, just hope it looks good on the car.

so not much of a update tbh, i have got all the gauges fitted now tho and all working :p

apart from that nothing els is new :(

here is another update, well i lowered the car a little more and took the "drop polo's" sticker off the back and put a new one on and also stuck on on the front bumper.

its was all so time to fit new front lower wishbones and anti roll bar as with it been low they wear quicker.

here are some pics of the new wishbones:

got them fitted 2day :p

i also stared to take the rear seats out, just need to finish it off and make it look good now.

and last i fitted some lights inside my car as its gettin dark sooner now and at car show/meets no one can see my cage :(

Do the gti clocks just plug in? or is it more complicated than that, the gti ones have outside temperature don't they?

yep just plug and play, i had to have mileage correction done tho as the clocks said 99000 and my car has only do 65000 but that was only £20 to have that put right. the outside temp doesnt work, it just says ------.
