I have nearly finished my car to how I want it, thought i would share.

All I need now are some bucket seats, a rollcage and a respray!

spec-wise its running a 1.8 20v turbo engine, been fully re-built up with forged internals - not actually a 2.0L yet still haven't had time to put in the 2.0FSI crank.

GT3076r turbo

stock ecu - next week standalone and full power!!

I have netted 453bhp and 380ft/lb torque on my smaller turbo (gt3071r) so I'm hoping with the new ecu the 500bhp mark will be reached.

Rota force 17x8 alloys - parada spec2's

5 speed gearbox with LSD

cayenne turbo 6pot calipers

r32 discs

KW V3 coilovers,

solid bushes all round

jabbasport rear anti roll bar ( makes a very tail happy car)

race engine mounts

Weightwise i am at 1240kg with 1/4 tank of petrol

The car is laggy with the big turbo but very easy to drive if you stay under 3.5krpm its just like a normal 1.8 car but once the turbo starts to spool all hell breaks out, everyday this thing puts a smile on my face :)

I have managed 0-60 in 4.9sec's but its after 60 that this thing flies, raced a few big cars's : 360CS, 430, 911 turbo (997), R8 (4.2), m3, m5 and not been beaten yet :) this were top speed runs going upto 160mph, I have done a max speed run and managed 176mph and hitting the rev-limiter in 5th.

I will try get some in car video's when I go to a track soon so I can really open it up.

Cheers guys, I had no choice if I wanted the big brakes unless I used 30mm spacers or something crazy like that, I had the mk5 gti monza's before in matt black and they looked perfect but would never clear the caliper, hence I had to get the evo time attack rims made for big brakes!

Yup driven everyday, I manage 30mpg when I'm careful which is hard tho when there's an open road!

The wheels grow on me everyday, when i first put them on last month i was not too happy, its the red lip which doesnt match the car in anyway!

Awesome car, thought about geting some compomotive wheels with offsets to suit or bbs race rims?

I cant imagine how fekin scary this must be...
