this is kind of a for sale thread but kind of not...

i'll explain...

I went to a scrap yard earlier which is near enough to my house (Wilf Jays at Catcliffe) and saw an written off blue 6n2. both front alloys are smashed to smithereens and it's got (what look like) 15" steelies on the back. got tints all round and a little spoiler on the boot.

I might call up there again tomorrow for some pics but if anyone wants anything from it, let me know and i'll see what they say. I'll need payment before i collect as i'm a bit skint (and don't worry, i'm not trying to rip anyone off here)

just so you know:

Both front alloys are smashed to smithereens

one of the front door cards has been removed but still in the car (when i went anyway)

both door pins have gone

one switch blank has gone

battery has gone

interior light has gone

headlights have gone

passenger side tail light is cracked (not sure about drivers side)

both airbags have deployed (don't know if this makes a difference)

front windscreen has been smashed

the rear bench seating has gone

Headunit has gone

**EDIT: The car was involved in some sort of front-end accident so as a result, the bonnet and front bumper are all trashed (along with the grille)**

The windows (With tints) are £20 each or all 4 for £60

The boot with spoiler (has a few scratches on the top because the scrap yard put another car on top of it) is £40

All prices are excluding postage unless stated otherwise

I will charge the same prices as wilf jays (if they something is, for example, £35 i'll tell you £35)

If/when i go back up, i'll take some pics

Thanks for your interest. I don't think that the car came with central locking but i can have a more thorough look through the car on monday. if it did have central locking, where would the pump be located?

if the car has central locking, i'll look into postage costs for you.

Is the front bumper damaged that muhc if not get me a price on that...as long as the mountings are okay and the top half is fine i dont mind as il be cutting it in half anyways. Also if its a 5dr...price on rear door handles. Cheers

it was a front end impact that was strong enough to deploy the airbags. i'll have a more thorough look on monday. i'll attach pics for you when i take them. the car was 3dr so no rear door handles unfortunately

ah okay matey. Just i had a pretty fair old shunt in my last 6n2..it was a write off and i could have salvaged the top half of the bumper for what I've got in mind but i was stupid enough not to lol but if it aint too bad, as said I'm going to be cutting it in half anyways so can repair damage if it isnt that excessive.

does it have all the carpets? if it does let me know a price :) cheers buddy

when i first went, they still had passenger door. The window is tinted and yes, it's near sheffield (It's Catcliffe area)

not far from J33 of M1.

as correctly identified by "Lytescary" the H/U has gone.

Depending on what happens with my insurance claim (not declared stereo) i might have a beta radio/casette player for sale (with the 'Unlock' code). mine's got a single DIN CD player and a single DIN casette/radio player - making a Double DIN hole.

The front bumper is missing from where the drivers side front indicator would be to the drivers side end of the bumper (i hope this makes sense)

They said "About £25" (just for the bumper (No rear valance thingy))

I think that £10 postage should cover it.

Like a spaz, i forgot to take pics of the rear bumper. there's some that get parts of it but not enough to show you all the way around...
