Having a clear out.

I have a Sony CDX-S2000 Cd player, Spec.

It was working fine, but then one day the buttons stopped working, only the off and eject button work, and when you eject it will not turn on again unless you remove and refit the front.

Could be an easy fix, not too sure whats wrong with it.

Also has a brand new lead to fit to your car, (sony to ISO)

Nice cheap upgrade from standard speakers, come in original box with grills.

One of the tweeters is lose on one speaker, however the speaker still works fine, I didnt notice any vibrations or anything from this.

Only used for around a month or 2.

Just wondering before I commit - did you have the speakers installed in your 6n? if so - where were they? want to make sure I have the space for them before I spend my money

yup, were in my 6n as front door speakers mate.

just had to fit some new spade connectors to the existing wiring.

the lose centre part, i put a strip of electrical tape around the speaker so it wouldnt vibrate/get any looser, but I did it in a way that it didnt effect the speaker working, just retained it a bit :)

I will let you know tomorrow if I want them or not got to see if my doors are already wired or not

front doors would be?

Thats what I'm thinking but I'm not sure. Since i have manual windows, no central locking and no speakers there at the moment :) such a basic car lol

well what speakers does it have? lol

Only ones I've seen are the ones in the top of the dash at either side :)

EDIT - just had a quick check and it feels like there are wires going between the body and the door in that rubber bit that bends would the wires for the speakers be in there?

the wiring probably is there somewhere, maybe just taped up in the loom.

take the door card off and look (takes around a minute) or search on here, i should think they would have the wiring there
