Then came a major issue, new wheels, 13x7 wellers, that rubbed like mad, so cue a bit of gentle wing persuasion :p

And now it doesnt rub...

Even with two big fuckers in the back!

And now shes looking nice and low

A few early pics, still a lot of work to do yet! but at least now there is a light at the end of the tunnel! just got to build the 1.6 16v up now

haha, cheers dude but that's just the workhorse! It's ace for fetching bits and destroying fuel! I'm down 60mm and it was still rubbing like a whore! Sorted now though :) though the exhaust now rubs all the time if anyone is in the back, so new exhaust and stripping may be in order! Cheers for meeting me with the wheels by the way!

It's getting laquered, I like it like it is, it seems to be dividing people a lot though :/ I'm gonna get another bonnet and paint it and change it i think depending on how the mood suits :)

Put a roofrack and sorted out ma BMX today so it matches. Also finished off the rear badges in the same old blue!

masked it off then sprayed it though in hindsight a roller would have probably been an easier option, but I did get a pretty good finish.

haha, no, i think its gonna stay laquered, i like it, its different, be it bad or good :) I'm respeaying the whole car this winter as the paintwork is gash, so ill see what happens then
