Great day dude, lol at that photo of me and robbo checking my wheels.

And look what I'm looking at in that pic with your brother in, your neighbours a legend.

Your looking at my next door neighbours underrage girlfriend :p But yea, she is :D

I could've told you about the sump clearance problems, thought you already knew

You need a MK3 pump/pickup and the sump.

Luckily this is a pretty straight swap for the AFH. Not possible on the AVY

Or you can do what I'm having to do, and cut the afh sump up, and shape it around the subframe. Its possible to do it without the pickup getting in the way.

Nice to see some progress :)

How you modifying the afh sump then? this sounds like a much better plan than swapping it all over as i can fit more oil in :)

Much easier to swap over to the early Sump mate.

Also you might have exhaust clearance issues with the front of the subframe/ARB. I think both clearance issues are shown in Renagade440's thread

I'm getting excited now about getting this thing on the road :D

Give me a bell when youve got this stuff packed and ill sort out it being collected :)

Youve also convinced me to put the buckets in, so I've been looking at harnesses this morning, in blue of course!

And finally, think I'm gonna cut a hole out of the bulkhead for the carbs that the trumpets can fit through, this means that i can keep that crappy bit of plastic that goes over the heater matrix and it keeps it looking tidy :) thatll probably change though when i try and cut the bloody thing out! Bad news is that I'm gonna have to refit the engine to line up the hole :/

Ace, didn't want it to be too easy

I thought the g lader blocks brought the arb far enough forward to avoid that issue :/ ill take a look at his thread and see i guess, want this on the road but for every problem i solve, another three appear! :p

Rob

Max brought it down with him. Its just a little gasless mig welder

Lol pigeon shit.

Fuckin road signs are hard to weld, especially when your trying to weld uneven rust to it without a gas shield.

You coming to spring fest then robbo? Rob, Dan?

I'm now less chuffed with this, originally it seem funny, but now I'm looking at my beard and I'm looking particularly ginger here.
