The breadvan rear arches are flat arches and I've got my ATS classics on the rear. I am lowering the back by 50mm this weekend, I'm sure it will rub.

Has anyone got any advice on how to sort this out? can i roll the rear arches on a breadvan?

Don't know but it will depend on wheel width and offset and tyre size, so would help if you put those :)

I went for the 40mm H&R kit drop at the back on 7j 13" ATS Classics on my bready with non stretched tyres and the rear arches needed a considerable amount of work.

Angus, I'm thinking that i will have the same problem, the arches dont look like they will roll cleanly as they are circular at the left side of the arch and flat on the right. does that make sense?

Its being lowered on sunday and I'm worried about how I'm gonna sort this out...

I measured 50mm down from the arch and it will hit the tyre :(

my mate has his breddy lowered 40mm and literally yesterday came and tried my ats classics 13x7s on it and the rears just sat on the arch :(

I'm gutted, truly gutted!

Course it can be done, you can either do it yourself (which is difficult as the paint will probably crack as its quite old) or you can get them flared/rolled elsewhere. I forget the name. I'm sure someone on here will give you the contact details.

I'm in solihull and I've found a local company that will do the rears for £80. but the rollers look like it will only do circular arches (which the breadvan isnt) would this have to be done by someone with a hammer and patience :p

I'm tempting having a go myself! heat gun, a hammer, and a cup of tea??

mines 40 on the rear and 80 up front on 13x7 et14 smoors . i had to roll my arches

I took a hammer to my first polo, as I wanted some BBS RAs on my breddy.

Did the trick, but flaked paint off too! And it still rubbed!

If anyone was in the back, they had to sit directly in the middle to even the weight and this was without lowering it.

May need to cut the arches to do it properly...

IF they are 7", then even with rolling you're going to get rubbage. The arches could be pulled, but there's not too much to be gained on the rear of a breadvan. To get the best look, you may have to look at slimmer wheels with correct offset (et38) or different wheels all together. I'v had mine rolled the max on the back, and with 14" et38 6 inch wide wheels, i would say i have a max of half an inch of space between tyre and inner arch.

You could weld coupe rear arches in. Its been done!

Iv decided to just get rid of the 2 ATS classics, put my steelies back on and carry on with the lowering! :) Thanks for all the help and info though guys

I've got 6J ATS cups on my breadvan and had to do a fair bit of arch hammering, bodge job type of thing, so not sure how you're gonna get on with 7J wheels.

i've got 7x13's on mine with an et of 20, cut a slit in the front and rear of the arch, bend the lip up that you've cut then get a scissor jack and a block of wood, put the wood flat on the arch and slowly wind the scissor jack out, make sure you heat up paint so it doesnt crack (or just crack it and re-paint it), i did this and pushed mine out so now they sit with about half an inch or clearance from arch to wheel
