right so here goes..

bought a 6n 16v back in june 2009 was bog standard apart from a 40mm wietec lowering kit and a badgeless grill

drove around like that for a month and decided some new wheels were a must ! so bought a set of mint bbs RA's with brand new tyres for £250

Tah dahh !

kept the car like that until october and saved up my wages for lots of bodywork to be done late november

but then early october on a wet oily road.. hit a road sign, killed my car and ended up rolling into a field (N)

a week after my crash still abit shaken up i decided that i needed another car, so all the money id saved up for my bodywork went on another valver that was identical to my first !

drove round with it standard until just after christmas when id got enough money to buy these !

and these !

decided the rears had way to much poke for my liking

so yet again saved up, sold the 3" dishes and bought some 2's from JustMatz

which brings me almost up to date (:

since the last pictures have bought a GTI splitter and de-wipered the rear.

and bought a few more goodies ready for the body shop next month

Those front RM' dnt look the same as the backs, dish looks thicker?

And have you still got those standard valver wheels fron the crashed car? RIP.

yeah the fronts are still 0.5" at the minute.. looking for some 1's or 1.5's if anyones got any !

really nice actually but, i like a stiff ride

got speed bumps round where i live and aslong as i go slow there fine and dont bounce you around too much

I cant believe you ditched the 3 inch dishes they looked amazing! its looking a pretty good start though the back sits well but yer definatley get some more dish on the front and maybe a smaller profile tyre? what tyres has it got on it at the minute?

yeah them dishes did look pimp but it would have been a right job to make them fit !

deffinately want more dish on the front !

my tyres now are toyo tr-1 195/50/15

been wanting new tyres for ages but the ones I've got now are still ok so there at the back of the que to be changed

what width were the wheels with the 3" dish? you can get 9J with the right offset thats what mines sat on at the back at the minute! ah yer that fair enough drop them down to 195/45s and with the extra dish on the front that would look great

bumper was only £35 mate from a scrap yard in nottingham

ah yer you would have needed your arches pulling with that i just get away with ET13 but i am going to get me arches pulled to go lower

Few udates guys.... first of all (: i painted my old 16v alloys glow in the dark cos just fancied a change for a few weeks...

Tah dahhh !

then because i had much thinner wheels on i tryed out more lows

as you can see i cant go much lower because of my exhaust (: but anyway...

drove around with those wheels for a week and I'm ashamed to say i was gutted to find that brightly coloured wheels get waaaaay more attention than my RM's :(

my respray day fast approching i got my arse into gear and finaly fitted my 6n2 bootlid

new boot on !

car goes away friday so ill be car less for 2 weeks ! (N)

will make sure to get pleanty of pics whilst my cars away to show the progress :)

haven't updated in awhile because basically theres been nothing to show :(

since my last update my cars been to be painted and i get it back tonight ! a few teaser pics for now...

will get pis up of all the prep later when I've picked my car up

got it home tonight and cant stop smiling !

will take some more photos tomorrow after I've changed its gearbox because that gave up on me about a month ago, haven't been able to sort it because of it going to get painted.

still need dishes for the fronts and some tyres. 185/45 nankangs were going to be my choice but I've heard there pretty shit soo i dunno now :/ any recommendations ?

they've been rolled and pulled a little... cant really tell on those pics.. but the sharp edge has been taken off and its all one curve now if you get me.

plus its sitting high at the minute cos i dont want my wheels fouling the paint by accident until its properly set
