as you can see nothing has changed

gave it a bit of a wash, started raining so ill clay, polish and wax it at the weekend

oh and if anyone has the bit of plastic that covers the pollen filter that they just want to 'give' me that'd be great, mines cracked and has caused a nice puddle in the car -.-

kinda fell out of love with it at the minute due to all the problems I've had, although I'm sure when i drive it again it'll change :)

failing that, I'm buying an S2000

Lovely build mate! I'm looking into fitting one into my 6n2 at the moment. I read you've used a 9n3 gearbox mount and a custom drivers one. Got any pictures of this custom one at all? Did you need to cut the chassis legs?

I'm not worried about the wiring or driveshafts ect ATM just trying to get the mounts sorted and want to do as least chopping and welding as possible.

it stopped being for sale as I got a bit of a promotion at work and could afford a second car.

cant change the title on here though :unknw:

seen a few changes over the past year or so and is currently off the road waiting for a new bottom end to be built up with some new additions

engine bay has had a bit of a re-fresh, with the addition of a 3" TIP

got rid of the awful flocked dash and put back in a standard 6n2 item, removed the rear seats, sound deadened and boarded out

then added an OMP Corsica wheel and a pair or Corbeau buckets to the mix

brings me up to date until after the autosport show this weekend where I'm likely to purchase a cage for it. Just have to see if OMP direct will give me a better deal than demon tweeks.

finally sorted the accelerator pedal out, turns out some of the wiring to the pedal was rotten. cut about 3" out and replaced and jobs a good'n

took delivery of the 5V engine cover and oil cap raiser which I think completely changes the look of the engine bay !

next on the list was to remove the interior trim, ready to take delivery of a roll cage from Custom Cages

and whilst it was out I managed to get hold of some fabric that's very similar to that in the newer VAG range and started to trim the pillars and headlining i'd removed

THEN, last but not least, finally collected my alloys from my mate in reading and after nearly a year on axel stands, drove it out of the garage under its own power

finally the cage has arrived ! although on the laser etched plate custom cages have supplied they've spelt Volkswagen wrong wacko.png useless.

In the pictures the harness bar and door bars (don't know if ill add these yet) are missing. and its rested on the floor and not on its proper mountings so its a fair bit lower than it will be when done
