6N '99 T Reg Window Problem

Featured Replies

Not sure whether this is the right place to put this, but I thought I'd give it a go.

I've recently bought a 6N Polo T Reg, and after winding the drivers window down it won't go back up, and the crank handle just seems to spin round and round while the window is doing nothing until it stops when it can't wind anymore.

What is the best/easiest/cheapest way to fix this problem? New to cars, so simple description would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Ben

youd have to take the door card off and check it out .. take your door card off , should be a few screws at the bottom and 2 behind the door handle ? and then clip off over the door pin , if i remember . and your window winder is proberbly held on by a cer clip so take tht off b4 you yank the handle .

you can try and wind your window up or down with the door card off and see what happening when your winding ..

maybe the teeth have worn down in the window winder handle .. or your actual crank on the door to wind the window up is buggerd ?

only a suggestion so might not be 100% with details ;)

worth a shot dude , good luck :)

Cheers mate. Had a look but weren't 100% sure so took it to the garage, got it under the warranty and they have fixed it.

Thanks for the help, just hoping it doesnt decide to go again! haha
