Unfortunatly thats not mine, but it is in someone on here's garage. Mine is a piece from a German mk2 G40 broken for spares. Intercooler came from the same car too.

My car is OEM colour rot-metallic, not Indian red which is the mk3 version

Nick was your front panel, inter cooler, boost pipes new as well? Could you drop me a pm of where to find these parts.

i see i called it indian red because i had a mk3 in indian red. whats the paint code i like the colour i have now but when i have funds i think the loon would look beta

Yeah thats it. I went to my unit yesterday to start marking up where i would need the air holes for the inter cooler and boost pipe just in front of the headlight but if i could get hold of that panel i would.

If you don't mind you might get a few PMs in a few months time if i get stuck

New genuine G40 front panels are available at VW Classic Parts. New G40 spoilers are no more avaiable. Used spoilers in good condition got prices about 200 Euro and up in Germany.

mailman, do you have any detailed pictures of how the mk2 intercooler mounts and the pipes leading up to it?

also is the outlet collar on a mk2 g40 different?
