Hey I just joined this site yesterday as i've heard alot of good reviews so i decided to get a few pics of my car up

Well have this wee car now a few months Its a 1998 1.0litre Polo

Bought it with 21k miles just over 23k on it now was totally standard so first thing bought was a set of coilovers out of a passat and thrown down 120mm, then took the bumpstrips off.

Then got myself a set of alleycat alloys and sprayed them flourescent green have alot of plans for this but will post the progress as it happens

Wont be to everyones taste but i like it...ITS DIFFERENT lol

Well tidy car that mate.. Nice one.. I've jus bought a polo r reg in dark blue.. its my first car :-D the only thing is it looks like abit of a granny car to be honest.. any advice on how to sort it out cheaply ??

first things first get the bumpstrips off and get a set of coilovers

yea dude i got passat coilovers as i had a set lying about and they fitted so fired them in until i get a decent set....they are a bit harder so the back isnt down as low as i would like....just collected a rear 16v bumper for the rear so i must get that sorted for spraying :-D

Right.. ill hava look at the bumper strips... and.. dont mean to sound like a retard.. but.. what are coilovers i kno its a way of lowerin... i think
