1.4cl polo 6n FEELER

Featured Replies

Make: Vdub

Model: Polo 6n 1.4cl

Year/Reg: 1996 (P reg)

Mileage: 101k

MOT: June 2011 (on at the end of the month as well as a good ol' service!)

Tax: Feb 2011 (will be provided)

Good points: The car is a great runner. There is nothing majorly wrong with her. The breaks are a bit rattly but will be getting sorted in the service/MoT. She is wearing some BBS split lookalikes and is generally a pretty clean car. Debadged front grille included in the sale and debadged boot. Brand new clutch and new gearbox at 100k miles as the other one dropped out of the bottom when i changed from 5th to 2nd doing 60. The engine is in good nick as well, I'll be giving that a nice clean as well. Electric windows, PAS, ABS, funky multicoloured interior light, blue sidelights, tinted rear windows (can be removed), smoked rear lights, black and white car mats, Good MPG, cheap insurance (£700 for me when i was 18 with no NCB) great first car, very VERY reliable, did me proud!

Bad points: She had a small patch of rust on the drivers side rear door which i was taking a look at one day when cleaning. I pulled the rub strip back to take a closer look and pulled the whole thing off in one go by accident, this pulled off a WHOLE load of paint but hopefully ill be sorting that out and getting a new door for it. Other then that, a few fag burns here and there (from previous owner)

Location: Woking, Surrey

Price: £1000 ono, will consider p/x for something a bit quicker (price is just for the forum rules, I want to see how much interest I get from it, will be prepared to take criticism)

I'll just say one thing, this car has done me PROUD! My best mate has an 05 plate corsa sxi, we were having an argument the other day. He told me my car was shit and I asked him how many times he had had to call the AA out to fix his (6 or 7) where i have NEVER had any problems with this car apart from the gearbox which was my fault anyway! these cars are made of titanium I sware, there is nothing that can beat a VW in terms of reliability! I will be very sad to see this go but I'm sure that the new owner will be happy! Any Questions or Queries just email me or PM me!

Thanks for looking guys

OK! So this car is now essentially now for sale. It WILL have MoT and a service done before the buyer takes the car. I will also include in the sale

1 x crate of Beer at the buyers choice (if thats alright?!)*

1 x Valet of the car

1 x ANY item from My work at unit cost +VAT**

anyone want to make me an offer?

*this will be in accordance to the forum rules, if ok, the buyer must chose the beer before the car is received

**at buyers expense. I will NOT be paying for the item. Money for the item must be received 2 weeks before receiving the car to give time for the item to get into stock, subject to availability, delivery terms and conditions apply.

  • 4 weeks later...

Still for sale, i'm looking at getting a polo asap, will need to cum look at it tho, can u provide me with some photos of the bad bits and also the inside of the car. E-mailing me will probably be easier, zoe.finnis@hotmail.co.uk.

Thanks
