They screw into the bottom front of the car behind the bumper, u'll then need the 8v grill with fog light holes.

You can cut your old grill to fit.

Unfortunatly i don't have one because i stupidly fitted these on with my 16v bumper and it didn't look good

I'm sure the lower fog light grill isn't that expensive from vw but like 'Po*low*' said with some skill u could probably cut some holes
